Beth (she/her/hers) grew up in Springfield, and spent time living in Arizona and Ohio with her partner, getting her Master's in Mental Health Counseling, all the while discovering that Oregon is where she wants to invest her time and energy for a brighter future. She has been supporting the mental health of youth and families at Looking Glass Community Services since returning to Eugene/Springfield in 2015, and is an adoptive parent who feels the need to support our next generations to have the same opportunities she has had for health and happiness. She has been focused on environmental work in her personal life to date, and is wanting to focus more on holding political leaders and corporations accountable for the roles they need to play in mitigating and managing climate change, beginning with awareness. She is happy to lend her organizational skills to this film festival, and would love to talk with you about how you can get involved!
